Antioxidant Power

Tea polyphenols are micronutrients that contain antioxidants called catechins. Green tea’s most abundant catechins are called EGCG, which is the most potent of all antioxidants. No other food or beverage contains more antioxidants than green tea and no green tea delivers like Gratitude.


Catechins, prominently found in green tea, are believed to prevent flu and cold viruses from replicating and increase overall immune strength.

The amino acid L-theanine, for which green tea is a quality source, has been shown to improve cognitive function and focus, and aid in relaxation.

EGCG, the polyphenols found in green tea, are believed to have neuroprotective properties and aid in combating such disorders as Parkinson’s, dementia and Alzheimer’s.

EGCG also has noted anti-cancer effects and is being studied as a chemotherapeutic agent.
